FAST News - Schedule Change - Inter-Provincial and Provincial groups

PLEASE NOTE: This Friday morning, February 29th, the Provincial and Inter-Provincial groups will practice at the UNB pool instead of the FIP.

March Break Schedule and Life Saving Course

All Practices for the Fishes, Red, Black and Provincial Groups will be cancelled over the March Break. (Starting March 1st... Normal Schedule resumes March 10th)

IP and National will have the following practice over the break train from 9:00 - 11:45 a.m. from Tuesday to Friday with the weekend off. No practices on Monday.

Life Saving Course

We will offering Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross over the march break. Bronze Medallion will be held on the Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 - 6:00 and Bronze Cross will be held on Thursday and Friday from 9:00 - 6:00. Please bring a packed lunch each day. The exam will be on March 15th, you will be told the exact time for this exam at the course. The total cost to run the course to the club is $500, the cost to each person in the class will depend on the numbers attending. The cost will be split ($250 for each) between each course and then split between attendees. To date there are 6 people in each course so the cost is about $45 for each course. You will have to also pay for a book about $40 and an exam fee of about $20. Again all these numbers depend on the final total of attendees. The instructor can handle up to 20 in the course, so lots of space is available. Please let me know ASAP if anyone else wants to take this course as I may need to order in some new books.

FAST Semi-Annual General Meeting - March 11th 6:30 - 8:00

Hello FAST families; 

We would like to invite you to our semi-annual general meeting to be held Tuesday, March 11 from 6:30 to 8:00 (location to be determined).

Please come join us for an update from the board members on our status this season. We will also be reviewing our plans for hosting the Mariane Limpert Team Champs beginning on April 25th.

The "Team Champs" is our biggest event this season and we will need lots of help to pull it off, so we hope to see all FAST families represented at the meeting to learn how you can help.
