Swim-a-thon cheque

Hello FAST families,

JUst a few reminders about the swim-a-thon tomorrow (Friday) evening.  Deck time for all
swimmers (except FISHES) is 6:15.  Swim is from 6:30-8:30.

This is a great team building fundraiser with all money going towards the purchase and
mounting of a FAST record board to be in the pool area where all swimmers can see it.

As this is a mandatory fundraiser,  each FAST family (Novice 1&2, AG 1,2,&3, National and
Teen Fitness) who has registered for swimming is required to raise $50; however,
this year we have included it as part of our fees.  The Swim-a-thon form your swimmer brought
home must still be filled out with donors for at least the $50.00 amount.  Any amount
you raise above the $50.00 must be returned with this pledge sheet form the day of the
event.

When you pass in your pledge forms, please submit one cheque per family made payable to
FAST for the entire amount above the initial $50.00 amount.  Anyone, other than a
parent (guardian) of a swimmer, with a donation of $10 or more will be issued a tax
receipt.  Their entire address including the postal code must be on the pledge form for
a receipt to be issued.

The goal of the evening will be to swim as many lengths a possible in the two hours to
a
maximum of 200.  We will be looking for some parents to come on deck and help count
lengths.

We will have a potluck snack table for the kids after the swimming.  I have divided the
group into the following:

Breads and Muffins: National and AG1
Bagels and cream cheese, croissants or cinnamon buns: AG 2 and 3
Fruit and yogurt: Novice 1 & 2
Juices: Fishes and Fishes Advanced

There will be prizes for the swimmer in each group who raises the most money.

All evening and after school practices are cancelled for that day.   It is a great team
building event and the swimmers always have a lot of fun.  See you all there!

Any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Swim-a-thon cheques

Hello FAST Fishes families,

Looking forward to seeing all Fishes at the pool tomorrow evening for this great
fundraising event.  All Fishes should be on deck at 5:15 and will swim until 6:30.

All money raised from this event will go back to our club.  We would like to purchase a
record board to have mounted on the wall in the pool area.  This is a great way to
encourage the kids to set goals and perhaps see their own name up there before you know
it.

The Fish/Fish Advanced who raises the most money will win a red Speedo swim bag, which
has been donated from Speedo.

When you pass in your pledge forms the evening of this event, please submit one cheque
per family made payable to FAST for the entire amount.  Anyone, other than a
parent (guardian) of a swimmer, with a donation of $10 or more will be issued a tax
receipt.  Their entire address including the postal code must be on the pledge form for
a receipt to be issued.

The goal of the evening will be to swim as many lengths as possible in the hour.
We may need some parents on deck to help count lengths.  We will have a potluck snack
table for the kids after the swimming.  I have divided the
group into the following:

Breads and Muffins: National and AG1
Bagels and cream cheese, croissants or cinnamon buns: AG 2 and 3
Fruits and yogurt: Novice 1 & 2
Juices: Fishes/Fishes Advanced

All evening and after school practices are cancelled for that day.   It is a great team
building event and the swimmers always have a lot of fun.  See you all there!
