WVST is currently preparing for its Premier Meet for January 23. We are in desperate need of Level II and up Officials to help us run our meet. Currently Per has agreed to be Mentor Referee, Diane Computer Operator, and myself as Meet Manager. We of course will have  parents signed up and trained for the lower levels officials and timers will not be a issue. Anybody that can help would be greatly appreciated so we can finalize our sanction application asap. We will of course cover expenses for anyone coming to help without a swimmer in the meet.

Hi Everyone,

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Merry Christmas everyone. By now, you have all marked December 19th on your calenders and I hope to see everyone at the Christmas breakfast. It will be a fun way for the whole team to get together. Siblings are welcome.We will have music,games, and a visit from Santa. We welcome any suggestions you may have that would add to the event.

Practice Cancellation Policy

 

PRACTICE CANCELLATION POLICY

The old plan for practice cancellation coordinating with school closure will not work for swimmers with an early morning practice. We are in the water before the School Districts have announced their plans. During inclement weather we will make every effort to run practices as much as possible. Please review the following plan:

• Morning practices for Nat, AG1, AG2, AG3 and Teen:

  •  Fitness-Marta will post a note on the FAST website latest news section at 5:15-5:30 AM whether the practice is on or Cancelled.

• Afternoon and evening practices will be run as usual unless UNB pool and building are closed. In that case we will post a note whether the practice is on or cancelled before 3 pm. Please visit Latest news for all updates.

As always, each parent must use their own discretion with regards to driving in inclement weather to the pool.

We will make every attempt to contact you as soon as possible. In the event the practice is cancelled we will post a note on the web site and send an email to the swim group affected by the cancellation. Therefore it is important to make sure we have your most current and up to date email address.. Please send your new or changed address to frederictonaquanauts@gmail.com

PLEASE HELP OUT!

Dear Parents and Swimmers,

We need your support and help  with raising money for the club. The money from fundraising event goes towards our club services and help keep the cost down. This upcoming weekend we have a fundraising event at Canadian tire. I know everyone is very busy with their own family lives and it is hard to find couple of hours to help but we would greatly appreciate your help. Please help us out, we still have some spots open.

There is very little work involved and swimmers can enjoy some social time with their friends while collecting money. So do not hesitate, call your friend and come out to help us out.

Citrus Pick up

All FAST Participating Families,

The location for CITRUS PICKUP ONLY is Unit 404, 880 Hanwell Road
Citrus pick-up day is Saturday, December 5 between 9 am and 1 pm.  As a reminder, fruit NOT picked up will be donated to a charity in the customer's name.
Please contact each of your customers and inform them of the location, and remind them of the date and time of pick-up.
In addition, the fruit will arrive on Friday, December 4th, at around 12 noon and we need help to unload the truck.  Please contact us at foremanj@nbnet.nb.ca or penney@nbnet.nb.ca if you can lend a hand.
Cookie Dough Delivery is delayed until December 15th.  In an effort to save significant freight charges, we were approached by the fundraising coordinating company to combine our order with that of two other local groups to qualify for free shipping.  Taking advantage of the free shipping had resulted in a later delivery date of Tuesday, December 15th, instead of December 4th.  Cheryll and I will arrange for cookie dough pickup to occur at the UNB Pool the evening of Tuesday, December 15th.   We will send out a confirmation email as we get closer to that day and we apologize for any inconvenience this delivery delay has caused.

Request for Citrus Volunteers
