Great job this weekend!

 

Attached is the list of the Provincial Team for the 2011 Camp & Tri-Meet to be held Jan.22&23, 2011 in Summerside, PEI.

 

The forms, etc. will be sent out shortly, but I know everyone was anxious to see the team, so here it is.

 

If anyone feels there's an error, please let me know ASAP. Also, if you know right now of anyone that is deifintely NOT planning on attending, please let me know ASAP so that i can inform the alternates and give them time to plan.

Practice Update

Hi Folks,

Just a quick reminder about the changes to the regular schedule this week...

Dec 20 and 21 regular practices for all Novice groups, all Age Groups and Senior group are off

Dec 22 all Novice practices are moved to 5:30pm

Dec 22 Wed 5:30-7:30 pm -TEAM PRACTICE all groups(Novice, Age Groups and Senior)This is a water practice for all competitive swimmers.

NB Short Course Championship - Moncton - Reservation deadline: J A N U A R Y 4, 2 0 1 1

 

Parents of the swimmers registered for this championship (see attached list of swimmers) ,

 

Please note that 25 rooms have been reserved at the Delta Motel located at 750 Main Street, Moncton NB E1C 1E6 

Booking dates:  February 4th and 5^th 2011

Room rates:  $109 per night

Type:   2 beds

Booking expiry date: January 4^th, 2011  (one month prior to arrival date)

Complementary parking for the group

 

It is understood that team members (families) are responsible for making their individual reservations.  Please call Delta's Reservation Department toll free at 1-888-351-7666.  Hours of operation are from 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Reservations can also be made 24 hour a day through Delta Hotels' Global Reservations at 1-800-268-1133.

 

All reservations must be made under the Fredericton Aquanauts Swim Team – FAST and a Credit Card number is required to guarantee each room.

Every reservation must be called in 1month before day of arrival in order to qualify for this group rate; all room nights which have not been reserved by end of day January 4th will be deemed to be room nights which our group will not use and will be returned to the hotel inventory, and available to general bookings.

Moncton Invitational meet info

Moncton Invitational meet info: Dec 17-19, 2010

Warm up times:

Friday 4pm for 5pm race time

Sat 8am for 9am race time and 4pm for 5pm race time

Sunday 8am for 9am race time

Be on the pool deck 15 minutes before the warm up time. All sessions are timed finals and we should be done around 1pm on Sunday. Relays are in session 2 and 4

Swimmers make sure you have all your team gear and extra swim caps, goggles and towels. Bring snacks and plenty of water.

Where UNB pool

Time: all swimmers on pool deck at 9:15am, warm up starts 9:30, racing starts 10:00

What to bring:

-team swimsuit, cap, goggles

-extra towels

-team clothing

-flip flops

-snacks and water(granola bars, fruits, veggies, crackers) swimmers are encouraged to snack on after each race while waiting for their next race and drink plenty of water.

-positive attitude

 

Meet fees: $26.00 -all Novice swimmers will have their account credited the amount, all AG3 group swimmers please deposit check in the white mailbox in the guards office.

Citrus Pick-Up

All FAST Participating Families,

Just a reminder.... CITRUS PICKUP day is Saturday, December 4th between 9 am and 1 pm at Atcan Storage-Units 602 and 603, 20 Acorn Street, off of Bishop Drive. 

Fruit NOT picked up will be donated to a charity in the customer's name.

Please contact each of your customers and inform them of the location, and remind them of the date and time of pick-up.

Citrus Update..

Hi Everyone,

 

I am looking for volunteers to help unload the citrus truck on Thursday afternoon.  The truck will be there around 3:30.  If you are participating in this fundraiser we would appreciate any help that you can give.  Many hands make light work.  Also if anyone has a wheeled dolly to help move the oranges and grapefruit to the appropriate place from the truck, it would be much appreciated.
