Change in warm up time

Change in warm up time

 Swimmers and Parents, 

 

Please note that warm up time for first session on Friday (Feb22) is now at 12:30pm and racing will start at 1:00pm, to allow for 3 hour break between afternoon session. All other warm up times stay same at the moment, 

Also note that 1500 fr is moved to Saturday am session.

Important-please read


Swimmers and Parents, 

We are very excited to share the news with all our members that starting tomorrow(Feb 12, 2013) we are switching to new web site look and new software system. Each current family account will receive an email with an activation link. You must activate your account (click on the link and follow the instructions) otherwise you will not be able to receive any updates or notifications from the club. 
Please note our web site address will stay the same and you will be automatically connected to new web page. Due to changing servers tomorrow (only) there maybe a delay in service. 
Our new web site has many new cool features so please make sure you check it out.

Saturday practices cancelled


Swimmers, 

Due to inclement weather tonight and tomorrow we are canceling all morning and afternoon practices on Saturday (Feb 09) however to make sure you stay in top shape you are required to shovel your driveway.

Clarification for upcoming events




Swimmers and Parents, 

Quick clarification regarding swim meet in Oromocto in March. As stated previously we are not planning on attending however there is a group of swimmers who will be attending the swim meet. Any swimmer interested in competing at the meet should talk to his/her coach regarding participation (as in any competition). 
As always if you do have any questions please ask coaches directly as they are responsible for overall training plan for all swimmers(individually and groups).

AM Practices-change of location

Please note that starting from Feb 11th all Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays morning practices are moved to UNB pool (same time) till the end of the season. 
Saturdays practice location are staying the same- Sen1 and Sen 2 at UNB and AG3 at FIP.

Fishes and Sharks Announcements

Hey folks!

Today during the classes I went up to the stands and made a few announcements, they are as follows:

1) There will be no Sharks class this Saturday Feb 9th because there is a swim meet from 1 to 5:30pm. Please feel free to come and watch, it might be a fun activity for you to do and it will give them a glimpse into what they could be doing someday!!

2) Because of all the cancellations this session, we will be adding an extra week on for everyone on any day. Instead of finishing on the 21st/22nd, we will finish on the 28th/29th.

We are so sorry for all of the missed days, we hope that this additional week will make up for that. It has been a busy session at the pool to say the least! As always if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

NOTE: BLAST 'B' Championship Meet






Good afternoon,

We wanted to send a note out regarding the BLAST 'B' Championship Meet.

This meet provides a great opportunity for swimmers who are not attending the East Coast Short Course in Halifax. If you competed this past weekend at the NB Open Championships and do not have an East Coast Time this is a perfect option to get up and race in a Championship Prelims and Finals format. With this being a de-qulifier for ECSC(meaning many swimmers with faster A times and East Coast times will not be participating at this meet), Swimmers will be racing with competitors that are within the B and A time standards.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask your athletes coach.

We look forward to seeing our swimmers step up and Race!!
