Eastern Canadian Tri-Meet

fast_header3.png
Hi Folks,

Just wanted to say congratulations and way to go to Cassidy Richards (swimmer) and Alexander MacDonald (coach). This past weekend they were attending Eastern Canadian Camp and Meet in Halifax. Cassidy was part of Atlantic team attending as a swimmer and taking part in camp and swim meet. Alexander was attending this meet as the only NB coach and was part of coaching staff that coached swimmers from Atlantic provinces, Ontario and Quebec.

Cassidy finished 2nd in 50 fr and 100 bk, 3rd in 100 fr, 200bk and 100 fly and 4th in 200 fly among 13 year old swimmers from Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic. She also participated in very busy camp for 3 days prior to the swim meet. The focus of the camp was technical skills and quality work. Cassidy came back with renewed energy to finish the season and perform at the Age Gr Nationals in Montreal.

Alexander had a lot of feedback and information to pass on and both of us will make sure all of our swimmers benefit from this experience.

FAST Banquet

fast_header3.png

                                                             FAST Banquet
                     Wednesday, June 8th, 6:00
                  New Maryland Recreation Center
                                                                  http://www.vonm.ca/

The event will start with the annual general meeting until 6:30. Everyone is encouraged to attend. There will be activities
planned for the swimmers during the meeting.

Pizza and dessert will be provided. This year, instead of food, we are asking that each family bring their own beverages.
For several reasons, this would be a great help in planning and, hopefully, more convenient for members than bringing food.

We will need 10-12 volunteers to bring a large salad. Please e-mail if you can help.

Hope to see you all there! Please let us know if you will be attending.
