Friday evening practices are cancelled

All Friday evening practices are cancelled or today as the UNB gym is closing for the day due to weather.

Weekend Practice Cancellation Update

Hi Folks,

We have several practices that will be canceled over the next few days...

The Fredericton Indoor Pool has had a water break and the electricity is turned off to the building for repairs. We will NOT have morning practice this Friday or Monday. I will update swimmers if the situation is not fixed for later next week after the weekend.

This weekend some of our practices are canceled as all the novice and AG coaches are away. Marta is coaching Team NB in PEI and all of our UNB varsity swimmers are away competing this weekend. The Novice practices on Saturday are canceled as well as the AG1, AG2 and senior practices on Sunday. Fishes Advance practice on Saturday is on as scheduled...

Fast Breakfast

We have decided to postpone the breakfast due to the low numbers of members who can attend. We will replace it with a club activity later in the spring and will do our best to give advance notice.

Fast Breakfast

New Maryland Center

SATURDAY, JANUARY 22
9:30-11:30

This social will replace the Christmas breakfast we have had in previous
years. Instead of  asking families to provide the food, we will be using the
kitchen to prepare pancakes, toast, bacon, and fruit. The club has provided
a budget for this event but there may be a small fee per breakfast depending
on the numbers attending.

I recognize that the notice is short but since we have not done this in the
past, I would appreciate quick replies by Wednesday to plan the amount of
food needed.

This is meant to be an informal way for the team and families to get
together without a huge time commitment or extra work for everyone. However,
I could use a few extra hands in the kitchen if anyone is free.

Online Official's clinics

Hi Folks,

We have now become able to do 3 different online clinics.

For those of you so inclined and foind it difficult or inconvenient to attend an Official's clinic, there is the possibility of doing a few of them online. In ordered to do a level 2, you must first have completed the level 1 Timer's clinic and have had 2 evaluations, one as a Timer and the other as Safety.

Chief Timer Level 2 clinic enrollment key word "NBCTimer"

These clinics are available at the Ontario Swim Association website - http://www.osoa.ca/education

FAST Breakfast Social

Hi Folks,

The FAST pancake breakfast social for all team members will be held 9:30-11:30 at the New Maryland Center next Saturday. I'll send more details out early next week and will need RSVPs by Wednesday to jillgoodyear@rogers.com .

A few volunteers for the kitchen at 9 or clean-up at the end would be appreciated.

To register your swimmer to participate in this swim meet please reply to this email.
Deadline response is Jan13th, Thursday 9PM,
A swimmer needs at least one A time standard to participate in the swim meet. Attached is a list of all eligible swimmers and NB standards.
Please note this meet is 3 full day meet with heats and finals (Fri, Sat, Sun)
