FAST Registration information

Date: September 13^th and 14^th

Time: 6:00-8:00pm

Place: Delta Hotel, 225 Woodstock Road

Please print and fill out the registration document. This will speed up the registration process.

Bring 5 checks, no cash will be accepted. You can pay in full or by post-dated checks.

No swimmer will be registered unless full payment is received, and any outstanding accounts must be cleared.

IMPORTANT-you will need to complete on line portion of your registration with Swim Canada before your swimmer will be allowed in the water.

You will get a link from registrar to log in Swim Canada web site to complete the registration. No swimmer will be allow to participate in water practices before online portion is completed. We will also have computers set up at the registration for your convenience.

At the registration we will only have Swim caps, Tshirts and Jackets available  for purchase or to order. All swim equipment will be available for purchase thru Radical Edge store. List of all available items will be distributed shortly.

Fantastic swimming at AGN in Montreal

Cassidy Richards won silver medal and broke provincial record in 50 fly with time 0:28.66 in 14 year old girls, she broke provincial record in 50 back with time 0:31.97 and she placed 4th in her age group, broke provincial record in 100 fly with time 1:06.29 and placed 6th, broke another provincial record in 50 fr with time 0:27.62 and she placed 5th in this event, in 100 fr she placed 11th with 1:01.55, and in 200 bk she placed 32 with time 2:37.30, 100 bk

 

Katarina Schatz (15 year old)competed in 50 fr and placed 72 with time 0:30.41 in, 100 frplaced 80 with personal best 1:05.79, in 50bk she placed 49 with 34.75 and in 100 bk with time 1:16.66 she placed 59th

 

Lauren Adam(16 year old) placed 65th in 50 br with time0:37.18, 65th in100 br with time 1:20.99, in 200 br with time 2:58.05 she placed 66th, in 100 fly with time 1:13.41 she came 89th and in 50 bk she placed 90th with time 0:35.00

Hi Folks,

Just a quick note to remind parents that we need to close the Fast books for the year and need all our families to pay their outstanding balances asap. There are a significant number of families that have still not paid for the Saint John Long course meet, the Quispamsis meet and dryland...Please leave your cheque payable to FAST in the white Fast Mailbox.

If cheques are not received by Sunday, we will be contacting families by email with your balance owing.

Outdoor meet fees and info

Swimmers and Parents,

 

Warm up:  Session#1 Saturday 9am

                  Session#2 Saturday 1:30pm

                  Session#3 Sunday 9am

Please plan to be at the pool 15 min before warm up time so swimmers have enough time to get changed and organized on the pool deck

Plan for the weather-the weather forecast (Sat and Sun) is sunny with isolated showers

Bring lost of warm clothing, extra towels, socks, running shoes, flip flops, sunscreen, hats, umbrella, rain coat, blankets.

If anyone has an open tent or screen we could use for our team gathering area please let me know.

 

Meet fees and coaching fees: $58.00 regardless how many sessions your swimmer is attending

Hello FAST parents,

 

Thank you very much for your attendance of FAST AGM and Banquet in such numbers.

 

At the meeting a request for more detailed breakdown of budget for next season (than what we had shown at the meeting) was presented. We have that available, it is no secret, but due to the fact that this e-mail is posted on our web-site and could be accessed by anybody outside our club, I would like to ask you, if you could please send me individual requests by e-mail and I would be very glad to send it to you.

FAST Banquet Reminder

Wednesday, June 8th at 6:00

New Maryland Recreation Center

For those families who have not attended in the past and are wondering what to expect. This is similar to other sports banquets. There will be a short meeting by the board at the beginning to confirm the members for next year. During this time, the senior swimmers have fun awards and games with the younger ones. This will be followed by food and the club awards. This is usually a well attended family event. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

2.Please remember to bring beverages for your family.

3.It would be appreciated if those attending would RSVP by tomorrow morning  ( jillgoodyear@rogers.com ) so that the correct amount of food can be ordered.

The event will start with the annual general meeting until 6:30. Everyone is encouraged to attend. There will be activities planned for the swimmers during the meeting.
